So our apartment building was constucted over 3 decades ago. And the builders had stopped construction midway hoping to continue the project a few years later. That never happened.
This left the roof uncompleted terrace open to the elements. The elements did not take too kindly to the incomplete structure. There are leaks and water seeps everywhere. This is the third time in a decade that I have taken it upon myself to fix that roof.
Last time we had to not just use a polymer protective layer but also grout the roof. The picture is from the work done last time.
This time it is more of a DIY project. I have a little help from friends. Hopefully we will be done in a week and the fix should last at least 5 years.
