This morning I was reading the book of proverbs and this is what I learnt.
Proverbs 18:2 – A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.
I was pondering on this and I realized that many a times we get into arguments, fights because one or both the party involved are not ready to listen or understand others opinions but are only interested in expressing ours. The Bible calls such people fools.
How many times have be behaved like fools? Let us learn to take pleasure in understanding other’s opinion and not only talk about ours! If every person works towards understanding others and not only expressing themselves, life would be less complicated and we less foolish!
